To help our efforts in growing our veteran community we are proud to announce that we will be implementing Veteran Group Runs in the Lafayette area. These group runs will take place every other Sunday afternoon and will begin on September 1st. These runs will also be open to the general public so feel free to bring your nonveteran friends. We plan to gather at a local watering hole from which we will launch the runs and will return to said watering hole for post run Viking celebrations, Longhouse socializing, and plentiful libations. The format of the runs will be in a loop so you can complete as many loops as your heart desires and the speed will be at your own pace. With these runs we hope to promote comradery, self-improvement, and personal growth. The first run will take place at Caffe Cottage at 6 p.m. on September 1st.
